Deep water driving and winching exercises are all part of how the Land Rover Bursary winners have been preparing to cross the Alps. Training at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire, UK, in preparation for their research expedition, the team have been pushed to their limits. Using a grid on the roof of their Defender as a continuous reference point, the team will be using their UAV to map the Alps in 3-D. This ground breaking research will pave the way for greater understand of landslide within the Alps .
